Time again for another Friday Five<\/a>!<\/p>\n

1. Hey, baby, what’s your sign? Do you think it fits you pretty well?<\/b>
\nCapricorn. And, yes, I’m a kind of conservative fuddy-duddy.<\/p>\n

2. What’s the worst birthday gift you’ve ever received? <\/b>
\nOooh, I hate these sorts of questions. I do horribly at keeping track of these sorts of things. I know I’ve received some awful birthday gifts, but nothing stands out right now. I’m sure Margie will remind me, though.<\/p>\n

3. What’s the best birthday gift you’ve ever received? <\/b>
\nSee #2. Getting a dinner at Club 33 at Disneyland was pretty cool, but I don’t know that it was the best. Margie, again, will remind me how I waxed lyrical about some birthday gift I got (almost certainly from her) and how I swore I would always remember it.<\/p>\n

Hmmmm. Is having a bad memory a Capricorn thing, too?<\/p>\n

4. What’s the best way you’ve celebrated your birthday thus far?<\/b>
\nSee #3. Though the “surprise party” for my 30th was pretty cool, too. (There’s another ironic twist to that party that I’ll leave it to Margie to comment on, too.)<\/p>\n

5. What are your plans for this weekend? <\/b>
\nAha! I can answer this one. And already did<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Though that entry failed to mention my getting on a plane at 5 p.m. Sunday to fly off to Oak Ridge, Tenn., by way of Chicago and Knoxville, arriving at Knoxville at 11:30 p.m. with still an hour to the hotel. Yawn.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
