Teacher suspended over Facebook comments: Lake County teacher suspended, reassigned for anti-gay comments on Facebook – OrlandoSentinel.com<\/a> – On the one hand, teachers — like everyone else — deserve the right to a private life and private opinions (even if I vehemently disagree with them). On the other hand, once comments like these get out, it would be difficult for an openly gay student to trust him. And if I made comments in my private life that interfered with my work or my company’s operations — even unintentionally — I would expect the company to take notice and that there would be repercussions.<\/li>\n
