The GOP leadership and punditry keep condemning the AJA as a whole, so the public, esp. the GOP rank and file, think the AJA is awful.  But the GOP leadership and punditry can&#8217;t get folks to sign onto condemning the individual components, like aiding states to avoid public-sector layoffs, or making infrastructure investments &#8230; so they don&#8217;t try. And they&#8217;ll run on opposing the AJA and they&#8217;ll draw cheers from GOP rank and file who think that opposition is a good thing, even if they approve of all its components.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/IeOyfS2I6vk\/\">Mitch McConnell Won\u2019t Condemn Republican Audience Cheering People Dying: Alan<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Three-starDavesSharedItemsInGoogleReader\/~3\/iS32rV5bEN8\/\">Public vs. private health spending in OECD countries<\/a> &#8211; We&#8217;re Number One!
