MovableType<\/a> 2.2 is now out. I had other plans for Friday night, but it looks like I’ll be doing an upgrade instead.<\/p>\n

It looks like it uses MySQL databases, which I have access to via my host, the fine Hosting Matters<\/a>. I may play with that. <\/p>\n

It also has a “trackback” option which looks to be some sort of mechanism to track blog entries that link back to blog entry that you write. I’m still not 100% clear of the functionality of this, and I worry that it looks like an MT dependency, vs. a static (but hopefully stable, and certainly platform-independent) HTML link, but I’ll see how others <\/a>make use of it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
