We keep a dozen or so reusable shopping bags in the car, where we promptly remember them as soon as half the groceries have been bagged in plastic. sigh<\/b><\/p>\n

The phenomenon in the cartoon is at least in part because the plastic in plastic bags seems to split apart if you look at it crooked. I still prefer paper, which at least stands upright. #ddtb<\/p>\n

We are absolutely terrible at remembering to take them to the store with us. So much so that I have to wonder why the hell we bothered to buy them.<\/p>\n
