What drinking water do you prefer — tap, bottle, purifier, etc.? We’ve got a purifier on the fridge which we use. Our tap water quality has gone down since we tied into Denver’s water system — but even that’s head-and-shoulders above tap water in SoCal.

(I remember when I first arrived in Denver, going to a home show and being accosted by a guy selling bottled water. “The water straight out of the tap here is so much better than what I’m used to,” I told him, “it would be a waste of money.”)

2. What are your favorite flavor of chips? Wavy Lay’s Au Gratin, a/k/a the Death Chip (since they can drive you into hypertension just by looking at the bag). I eat a bag of them about once a year. At one sitting.

That’s potato chips. In the corn chips, just natural Gold ‘n’ Salt styles are my fave, though occasionally some Nacho Cheese Doritos force their orange way down my throat.

3. Of all the things you can cook, what dish do you like the most? I make pretty damned good chili, if I do say so myself. If we extend it to food prep in general, I’d have to make it a toss-up between my pecan pie and my chocolate pecan strata.

4. How do you have your eggs? Scrambled or omelette. Or, on a skillet dish, basted. Never hard- or soft-boiled.

5. Who was the last person who cooked you a meal? How did it turn out? Heh. Margie, natch. And faboo, natch.

(reminder via SfAD)

"_seopress_social_twitter_img_attachment_id":0
"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[32

post-246","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-personal-qa
Tap Water is the new Bottled Water.
