So, yeah, I use MS Security Essentials on my home machine, rather than someone else&#39;s competing-free or pay solution.  On the other hand, I usually pick up a more robust text editor than Notepad (but am glad that Notepad is there).  And I wouldn&#39;t be caught dead relying on IE for my own browser.<\/p>\n<p>That said, as a dedicated LastPass user, I&#39;ll be curious too see how this new Win8 password manager actually works out. It&#39;s going to be hard for LastPass (et al.) to survive unless MS really stumbles on this (limiting machines to sync to, poor security, poor functionality).  <\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, I have no great desire to rely on MS for my ultimate password security &#8212; I mean, really? Using my Windows Live password as my master password?
