The evidence is only anecdotal so far, but it looks like there’s going to be a big increase in births this summer, prompted by a Post-9-11 increase in conceptions<\/a>.<\/p>\n

An instinctive reaction to disaster to keep the race going? A realization by people that the “right time” might never come and they might as well get started with families? Or the results of a bunch of people unable to go to work for a few days and making the best of the situation.<\/p>\n
