Part of what's amusing\/maddening about the debate is that it's couched (by government critics) as being "unfair" — it's "unfair" that federal workers earn more, or get better benefits, or whatever.<\/p>\n

Of course, I strongly suspect most of those same people would vilify any attempt to discuss "fairness" in private industry wages. #ddtb<\/p>\n
