Well, the first morning — as in 1:30 to 3:00 in the morning — of our Memorial Day Holiday was taken up with Katherine expressing her displeasure over an ear ache. <\/p>\n

There’s something particularly zombie-like about one’s reflexes and thought processes at that time of night. Especially after you’ve lurched up to respond to the baby monitor three or four times already.<\/p>\n
