For all of those who've been waiting with bated (or at least wheezing) breath …<\/p>\n
My previous antibiotic ran out early last week, but it was one of those "it will keep working for five days, so call us then" types of meds. Well, I was getting toward the end of that period, and still feeling dragged out (and still rattling in the chest a bit), so I took my mom's advice and called them a little in advance of the deadline.<\/p>\n
Long story short, I'm now on a five day course of steroids to clear up the bronchial passages. I still have a bit of a rattle (as of lying in bed this morning), but my cough is much, much better, and I actually felt rested and even somewhat energetic this morning (work is doing its best to address that). So, feeling better about feeling better, huzzah. #ddtb<\/p>\n
