Since early June <\/a>I’ve been using the Weatherpixie <\/a>(the little graphic feature in the sidebar) for local weather info. <\/p>\n

Unfortunately, because of copyright concerns, Tamsin’s moved away from using the Stortrooper <\/a>figures (Stor sadly seems to have gone in hiatus, btw) to using some other figure styles. I don’t care for them that much, to be honest, but by the same token, since I’ve had some nice e-conversations with her, she’s allowed me to customize the figures to look and dress like me (aside from being far too, uh, svelte to actually be me). Plus both Mist and Indy show up occasionally.<\/p>\n

The other, larger problem is that the weather feed from Centennial Airport to her seems to be regularly a couple of hours old, if not moreso. If I drop WP, it will be because of that (since, well, weather info that’s old isn’t much use). I’ll have to ping her about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
