It’s the Saturday Scruples<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Legal attempts to stop clear-cutting of a forest of giant red woods have failed. Local activists plan to sabotage the logging company’s machinery. Do you support this action?<\/b><\/p>\n

I support their intent, and so long as the sabotage is not going to endanger people, I support their tactics. So long as they’re willing to do the time if they’re caught at the crime.<\/p>\n

2. The construction company where you work is doing a shoddy, dangerous job. If you tell the client, the company may go bankrupt. Do you tell?<\/b><\/p>\n

Yes. My company’s solvency (which would be threatened by the shoddy work they’re doing anyway) nor my paycheck are worth putting others at risk.<\/p>\n

3. Men: you’re single. You sleep with someone you hardly know and two months later, she’s having your baby. Do you accept this lifelong responsibility? <\/b><\/p>\n

A little bit late to be making that decision. Yes, it’s the only honorable thing to do (and a good reason not to go around sleeping with folks you don’t know or don’t want to be committed with).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
