Dear Governor Perry (and a whole lot of other people): The issue is not whether some of the top, most exemplary medical care is available in the United States (or Texas), the issue is whether ordinary people<\/i> can get access to necessary medical care<\/i> short of crashing an emergency room when the kid's fever spikes over 104 degrees.<\/p>\n

In other words, it's not about Health Care Reform, it's about Health Care Coverage<\/i> Reform.<\/p>\n

I mean, it's great that those who can afford it<\/i> can get top-knotch medical care. But that's like saying those who can afford it can get the best culinary delights in the world. The real question that our society needs to consider (still, sadly) is whether those who are sick can get care (and those who are hungry can get food).\u00a0<\/p>\n

That's not anti-American Commie Muslim Atheist Kenyan Pinkoism, That's straight out of the Bible (http:\/\/wist.info\/bible\/11320\/<\/a>).<\/p>\n
