I mean, gads! They aren't festooning their bodies with the Stars and Stripes! \u00a0What sort of commiesymp athletes are we sending to London? No wonder we don't have those raucous cheers of "USA! USA!" drowning out the proceedings!<\/p>\n

But seriously, folks …<\/p>\n

Actually, Margie commented on the rather ugly gray jackets some (?) of the athletes have. And I had already noted that the uniforms this year were much less Star-Spangled Bannery (particularly noticeable during flashbacks of other US gymnastic teams).<\/p>\n

So the general observation is a correct one, even if the implications of poor patriotism and all that are, typically, asinine.<\/p>\n
