Inspired by the conversation below, I’ve now added a Glossary section to the sidebar, with all the various acronyms (and abbreviations) that I spotted in my August archives defined either through link titles or acronym titles. Just hover your mouse over the term, and a little tool tip should pop up. Unless you’re using Netscape 4.x, in which case you’re on your own.<\/p>\n
Where there was an official home page for the item the term referred to, I made it a link.<\/p>\n
In putting things in the glossary, I tried to consider the following:<\/p>\n
In other words, if I want to communicate, I’d better be sure that folks know what the heck I’m talking about.<\/p>\n
