No doubt you’ve heard about the rib-tickling proposed “Reality TV” show, a _hillbillies_dc_1″>revival of the <\/i>Beverly Hillbillies<\/a>, but with real <\/i>“rural, lower-middle class family” (complete with granny) learning to live life in a Bevery Hills mansion.<\/p>\n

(Never mind that the original BH were the actual heroes <\/i>of the stories, noble and honest and warm-hearted, and that no matter how many giggles we had over the fish out of water, what we really <\/i>loved was the comeuppance of the snooty, unscrupulous greed-heads who tried to exploit them for their own gain. Hmmmmm.)<\/p>\n

Well, Susanna here has a few alternative suggestions<\/a>. Glad to see we agree on the third one.<\/p>\n

Though now that I think of it, that’s actually close relative to Green Acres<\/i>. Which, it turns out<\/a>, is also in development <\/a>as a Reality TV show. <\/p>\n
