Paul Ryan was, of course, vehement that all those stimulus dollars were evil, ineffective, wasteful, and a DOOOOOM up the nation.<\/p>\n

Except he was glad to endorse Wisconsin groups applying for stimulus funds.<\/p>\n

And, of course, we all know that federal funding of clean energy research and the like are a bunch of cronyistic money-wasting when we have all the oil and natural gas we could ever possibly want.<\/p>\n

Except, of course, when the Wisconsin groups that Paul Ryan was sponsoring were, of course, clean energy and energy efficiency efforts.<\/p>\n

So … is it good<\/i> to have stimulus to support efforts during a serious downturn? \u00a0Or is that just throwing money away? \u00a0And are clean energy initiatives a good place to invest money, or are they all wasteful scams?<\/p>\n

Rep. Ryan, what do you think?<\/p>\n
