Well, at least, what's the diff "for the father"? \u00a0Because, I guess, that makes them the same. Because guys who knock up your daughter are kind of like rapists? \u00a0Or because rapists have fatherly feelings, too? \u00a0Or …<\/p>\n

Um … what the hell?<\/p>\n

Here to explain, is Tom Smith, GOP candidate for US Senate in Pennsylvania<\/p>\n

MARK SCOLFORO, ASSOCIATED PRESS: How would you tell a daughter or a granddaughter who, God forbid, would be the victim of a rape, to keep the child against her own will? Do you have a way to explain that?<\/i><\/p>\n

SMITH: I lived something similar to that with my own family. She chose life, and I commend her for that. She knew my views. But, fortunately for me, I didn\u2019t have to.. she chose they way I thought. No don\u2019t get me wrong, it wasn\u2019t rape.<\/i><\/p>\n

SCOLFORO: Similar how?<\/i><\/p>\n

SMITH: Uh, having a baby out of wedlock.<\/i><\/p>\n

SCOLFORO: That\u2019s similar to rape?<\/i><\/p>\n

SMITH: No, no, no, but\u2026 put yourself in a father\u2019s situation, yes. It is similar. But, back to the original, I\u2019m pro-life, period.<\/i><\/p>\n
