Wow, this is like 2001 when I started my blog. Still, these kind of inventories are always fun (at least for the record). (h\/t +<\/span>Helena Bertinelli<\/a><\/span>)<\/p>\n

1: What do you put on hotdogs?<\/b>
Usually catsup and onions — though chili (and onions) works under the right circumstances.<\/p>\n

2: Do you say "anticlimatic" or "anticlimactic"?<\/b>
The latter, of course, since the root word is "climax".\u00a0<\/p>\n

3: Do you check flyers before grocery shopping?<\/b>
Nope. I know what I want.<\/p>\n

4: Blue, black, or some other colour pen ink?<\/b>
Blue, as it's dark enough but it stands out marking up black and white printouts.<\/p>\n

5: Do you use your parking brake?<\/b>
Always. Well, on my manual, at least.\u00a0<\/p>\n

6: Look to your left. How many framed pictures are on the wall?<\/b>
None. But there are three framed images on my desktop to my left.<\/p>\n

7: Do you know how to play chess?<\/b>
Yes, and pretty decently at that.<\/p>\n

8: How often do you clean the interior of your car?<\/b>
Decluttering? About as often as I have riders. Detailing\/cleaning? Um … once a year, if I remember.<\/p>\n

9: Do you ever read the last few pages first?<\/b>
BLASPHEMY!<\/p>\n

10: Ever fallen in the shower?<\/b>
Not that I recall. Of course, hit your head hard enough …<\/p>\n

11: On a scale of 1-10, how likely are you to swear at other drivers?<\/b>
9. Well, 10.<\/p>\n

12: What's the worst thing you've ever called someone you care about?<\/b>
Um … not so much into name calling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

13: Do you have a Snuggie?<\/b>
Not on a bet.<\/p>\n

14: Are you allergic to anything?<\/b>
Undefined hayfever.<\/p>\n

15: Do you have any TV shows on DVD?<\/b>
Mwah-hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Um, I mean, yes. Many.<\/p>\n

16: How many times do you hit the snooze button before finally getting out of bed?<\/b>
Never. That way madness (and\/or lateness) lies.<\/p>\n

17: Ever driven away in anger?<\/b>
Nope. Don't walk away in anger, either. Though I do occasionally sulk.<\/p>\n

18: What's your favourite freezie colour?<\/b>
On the assumption that's a popsicle, I prefer various citrus flavors — orange or lemon best.<\/p>\n

19: Are you a vegetarian?<\/b>
No. I respect folks who are, but I'm not that disciplined. Plus, bacon.<\/p>\n

20: Do you have a garbage receptacle beside you? What's on top?<\/b>
Yes. A receipt for Sandia which ended up in a pocket, thence to my office desk, and now to the trash (and thus, immortalized on the Internet).<\/p>\n

21: Do you cross out your mistakes or erase\/whiteout them?<\/b>
Cross out. \u00a0Or backspace …<\/p>\n

22: Ever torn something up that you instantly knew was too important for such treatment?<\/b>
Not that I can think of. I tend to be inordinately careful about things.<\/p>\n

23: Do you think that things will get better?<\/b>
Yes, but hardly on a flat curve.<\/p>\n

24: Do you have an unpopular opinion? What is it?<\/b>
I have a lot of unpopular opinions, from some perspective or another. I liked Howard the Duck<\/i>, which always seems to make folks goggle at me.<\/p>\n

25: What's your favourite quote?<\/b>
Given that I have a collection of 10,745 of them (http:\/\/wist.info\/<\/a>), that's a tough one. My favorite currently on the front page is "The chief way to gain good will is by good deeds." by Cicero (http:\/\/wist.info\/cicero-marcus-tullius\/18889\/<\/a>)<\/p>\n

26: Did you\/are you going to go to prom?<\/b>
Yup. Some day I might even post a picture of it. \u00a0My tux was powder blue, as I recall …<\/p>\n

27: What's the most physically painful thing you've ever experienced?<\/b>
Mercifully, I don't have a good memory for pain.\u00a0<\/p>\n

28: What's the most emotionally\/mentally painful thing you've ever experienced?<\/b>
Pass. (I know what it is, but choose not to share.)<\/p>\n

29: Have you ever legitimately saved a person's life?<\/b>
I don't think so, aside from warning someone to watch out for car passing through the crosswalk.<\/p>\n

30: What's your favourite book genre?<\/b>
Probably SF\/F (see, I cheated by conflating the two).<\/p>\n

31: Did you like "Gigli"? Be honest.<\/b>
For better or worse, no.<\/p>\n

32: Have you ever walked out of a movie at the theatre?<\/b>
The closest I ever came was with the film adaptation of Isaac Asimov's Nightfall<\/i>, starring David Birney. \u00a0It makes [fill in your worse film ever] look like Citizen Kane<\/i>.<\/p>\n

33: Do you peek between your fingers during the scary scenes?<\/b>
Nope. I do turn away during hypodermic injection scenes, though.<\/p>\n

34: What was your reaction to Tatum getting killed whilst stuck in the pet door in Scream?<\/b>
Never saw it. Only a very mild interest in doing so.<\/p>\n

35: Do dogs like you?<\/b>
They seem to. \u00a0I certainly like them, though we are (and are likely to remain) a cat family.<\/p>\n

36: Would you say that you project an air of authority?<\/b>
I can. At least, I keep finding people looking at me for answers, permission, leadership, etc. Which still strikes me as odd.<\/p>\n

37: Do people listen when you speak?<\/b>
Yes, but that's because I project with a deep, well-resonated voice.<\/p>\n

38: How are your elbows? Are they okay?<\/b>
Actually, feeling pretty smooth right now.<\/p>\n

39: What is one thing that you do exceptionally well? Be honest.<\/b>
Public speaking.<\/p>\n

40: Do you use torrents?<\/b>
On occasion. Only to find stuff I already own, though.<\/p>\n

41: When was the last time you paid for music?<\/b>
A few months ago. \u00a0I don't acquire a lot of music, but I try to do it honestly. \u00a0<\/p>\n

42: Are you addicted to technology?<\/b>
Yes. Though aren't we all, for some value of "technology"?<\/p>\n

43: Pick a person (you don't need to give their name). How do you feel about them? Be as honest as you can get yourself to be.<\/b>
I love her more than life itself, and want to spend the rest of that life with her.<\/p>\n

44: Do you check your computer's dictionary for the definition of words you'd otherwise feel confident about using during in-person interactions? Just to be sure?<\/b>
Sometimes. But it's usually for pretty obscure words, since I have a pretty broad vocabulary.<\/p>\n

45: How heavily to you rely on spellcheck and autocorrect?<\/b>
Pretty extensively, mostly to catch keying errors.<\/p>\n

46: Have you ever gotten into an argument on the internet? Did you win?<\/b>
Yes, often. And, depending on how you define "win," yes.<\/p>\n

47: Do you pause movies\/TV shows if you have to go to the bathroom or the kitchen, or do you just let them keep playing?<\/b>
If I'm actually watching, then usually. \u00a0Of course, the kitchen is in eyeshot of the TV and the bathroom in earshot, so sometimes I don't need to.<\/p>\n

48: If you use a regular alarm clock, do you have it set to music or that obnoxious beeping?<\/b>
Obnoxious beeping. \u00a0I want it to wake me up, dagnabbit.<\/p>\n

49: Peter Pan?<\/b>
I was more of a Skippy kid growing up, but now we tend to buy more "natural" peanut butter.<\/p>\n

50: How often do you fall up the stairs?<\/b>
Given the number of times I actually go up and down stairs carrying stuff, reading, etc., not as many as you'd expect..<\/p>\n

51: Do you pronounce "anti" as ant-eye or ant-ee? (Example: "That scene was very anticlimactic.")<\/b>
"Ant-ee". Though in that particular example, I use a\u00a0schwa.<\/p>\n

52: Do you pronounce "via" as vee-uh or vie-uh? (Example: "We can get there via Tremont Street.")<\/b>
Vee-uh. Truer to the Latin. \u00a0Though "viaduct" is "vie-uh".<\/p>\n

53: How often do you forget to close your parentheses?<\/b>
With all the parentheses I use, almost never. Except in more complicated Excel formulae.<\/p>\n
