It’s the Saturday 8<\/a> …<\/p>\n

  1. The easiest place to look and find annoyances within one’s life is within himself or herself. What, if anything, annoys you most about yourself?<\/b>Lack of discipline. I’d work on it, but I’m too lazy.\n

     <\/li>\n

  2. Most people know at least one person who seems to make your skin crawl and hair stand on end at the sound of their voice. Who is that person for you and why is it that you find them so annoying?<\/b><\/li>\n
  3.  \n

    Gilbert Godfried. As a parrot, he’s barely tolerable. As a human being, I find his whole demeanor and voice to be the human equivalent of fingernails on a chalkboard.<\/p>\n

    Rush Limbaugh sends me scrambling for the radio tuner within 2 minutes, before I have an apoplectic fit. Though Anne Coulter does much the same.<\/p>\n

  4. Television can be annoying to. Is there a television show or a movie that seems to be on TV all of the time that you find absolutely intolerable and what bothers you so much about it?<\/b><\/li>\n

    “Married, With Children.” There was absolutely nothing of merit to this bafflingly-long-running, mean-spirited piece of trash. Nothing.<\/p>\n

  6. I am not a big fan of Top 40\/Pop radio and many of the songs are annoying? Name a song that you hate to hear and what do you think about, if anything when you hear it? <\/b><\/li>\n

    “And I Will Always Love You,” as sung by Whitney Houston. The first time I heard it, her “belting” delivery was such that it made it sound like she was singing, “AND OOOOONNNNN, AND OOOOOONNNN, AND OOOOOONNN …” which is how the song felt to me, too.<\/p>\n

  8. Time to pick on the ones we love. Name three people who are close to you and the things that they do that you cannot stand.<\/b><\/li>\n

    Boy, trhing to get me in trouble early on a Saturday morning? I’ll pass this one, thanks.<\/p>\n

  10. People have differences of opinion. Names something that you appreciate and at least one person finds annoying or vice versa? Why do you feel this way?<\/b><\/li>\n

    There a number of old TV shows that I enjoy that Margie appears to find … annoying. For me they are evocative of when I first saw them, they possess a retro charm, and I find them fun. Margie appears to find them to be old TV shows, kind of stupid, with poor production values and lousy acting. Star Trek <\/i>TOS comes to mind as a recent example …<\/p>\n

  12. Is there anything that at some point that you just did not like and now do enjoy? If so what is it and what changed you mind?<\/b><\/li>\n

    Margie has broadened my culinary appreciation immensely, doing so by being a damn fine cook.<\/p>\n

  14. For you last question, of all the people and things that annoy you person, if you had to a choice to eliminate one from the world entirely, which one would it be and why do you feel you and every other human being are better off without it?<\/b><\/li>\n

    I suppose the class of “annoying, intellectually dishonest, and ad hominem<\/i> political commentators” is too broad here?<\/p>\n
