Okay, I liked Stephanie Brown as Batgirl, and the meta-saga of how the character has been treated over the years is a pretty obnoxious one, but I'm not going to make a federal case over her. \u00a0Except … well, there's "DC Editorial Deciding She Will Not Be Appearing Again, Despite Requests from Her Fans" and "DC Editorial Being Dicks About It."<\/p>\n

And in the latter category, we have new bit of Orwellian uber-diligence. Either DC Editorial is being particularly anal about the subject, or else they're taking glee in really torquing off an already torqued-off fanbase.<\/p>\n

My take is this: It's DC's prerogative to decide what characters they do and do not publish–but when something slips past you like this, changing it just seems like petty, mean-spirited micro-management.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
