The woman was called out by security, taken to the tarmac, and asked what might be inside.  She explained the situation, and she was asked to remove the item and show it.<\/p>\n<p>1.  If you&#8217;re carrying anything in your luggage you might be embarrassed for people to see, get over it.  Current security regs make it clear that anything, either checked or not, is subject to inspection.<\/p>\n<p>2.  If you&#8217;re embarrassed that people might find out you own something, don&#8217;t own it.  If it becomes public knowledge, don&#8217;t sue the folks who exposed it.<\/p>\n<p>3.  Delta workers on the tarmac who ostensibly laughed over this:  okay, it is kind of amusing.  That said, remember your damned customer service training, and hold your guffaws for the locker room.  Be professional, dammit.<\/p>\n<p>4.  Lady, it&#8217;s not gender discrimination.  Nor is it negligence.  Nor is it intentional infliction of emotional distress.  And it&#8217;s not like you&#8217;re not getting your frelling name in the papers over the incident now.
