Matt Taibbi screedifies on America's billionaire financiers and how put out they are that poor folks who pay no federal income tax have "no skin in the game," and how unfair it is that the rich are hated by all the hoi-polloi.<\/i><\/p>\n

'People like Dimon, and Schwarzman, and John Paulson, and all of the rest of them who think the \u201cimbeciles\u201d on the streets are simply full of reasonless class anger, they don\u2019t get it. Nobody hates them for being successful. And not that this needs repeating, but nobody even minds that they are rich.<\/i><\/p>\n

What makes people furious is that they have stopped being citizens.'<\/i><\/p>\n

Demonstrate you care more for, or even as much<\/i> for, the rest of humanity as you do your profit margins and tax breaks and leveraged buy-outs and million-dollar birthday parties — show that you<\/i> have some skin in the commonweal beyond what little gets scraped off your begrudging back by the IRS — and then maybe you won't have to be as wearisomely worried\u00a0about angry mobs with torches and pitchforks.<\/p>\n
