I find it endlessly fascinating that the GOP (in particular) touts the US as the Leader of the Free World, the Greatest Super-Power, the country that everyone looks to and admires (or fears), the nation that can do anything, because it is, in fact, Number One at Everything …<\/p>\n

… but when it comes to climate change, "America is a country, it\u2019s not a planet." \u00a0In any other context but climate change, a Democrat saying that would be roasted over the coals by the GOP for dissing the United States' Exceptional Greatness\u00a0and God-Granted Ability\u00a0to Do Anything.\u00a0<\/p>\n
