Colorado Rockies relief pitcher Todd Jones has apologized <\/a>for embarrassing the team with remarks he made last week about how he “wouldn’t want a gay guy being around me” on the team. (He did not apologize for the remarks themselves, mind you, only for making them in public.)<\/p>\n

Best rejoinder to the whole affair, however:<\/p>\n

Jones said he wouldn’t want a gay teammate “rubbing it in his face.”<\/p>\n
