The set-aside, common to major municipalities across the U.S., ensures public officials will consider aesthetics, and not just function, when completing new buildings.&#39;<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Which is actually, in my opinion, kind of neat. \u00a0While the comments of the article are predictably fully of complaints about how such things are squandering and a waste, I&#39;ve come over time to appreciate public art pieces in general (even when some of the particulars, like the Demon Horse of DIA, a\/k\/a &quot;Blucifer,&quot; aren&#39;t to my liking).
