Friday night, it occured to me (too late for the evening) that my dad might really like Firefly<\/i>. I mean, what’s not to like, but, really, he’s an old Western watcher from way back. <\/p>\n
Saturday night, I thought I’d let the High Priest of Firefly <\/i>Fandom, Doyce, give my dad a one-paragraph description of the show. That turned into a good hour of discussion and explication, complete with a teaser viewing of the first part of the Friday night episode that Doyce just happened to have brought over for Margie and me to watch some time this week.<\/p>\n
Sunday afternoon? Whilst Katherine napped and football games droned on, we and my folks ended up watching the tape …<\/p>\n
