It’s time for the Tuesday This-or-That<\/a>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

1. Art or science museum?<\/b> I like a good science museum. I’ve found, over the last decade or so, however, that my admiration for art museums (and my ability to pick up Pretty Things there) has increased.<\/p>\n

2. Play or watch sports?<\/b> Play. Play poorly, but play.<\/p>\n

3. Zoo or circus?<\/b> Much more interested in watching animals hanging out than doing tricks. And clowns don’t do anything for me.<\/p>\n

4. Theater: film or live on stage?<\/b> By and large, film. But I enjoy stage productions, too.<\/p>\n

5. Rock concert or the symphony?<\/b> I prefer symphonic music, but the symphony experience is not that much different from sitting and listening to a CD. A rock concert is usually more interesting.<\/p>\n

6. Movies: see them in a theater or wait for DVD\/VHS?<\/b> For movies that warrent it, I try to see them in the theater. That usually means big fx blockbusters, which benefit from the big-screen-surround-sound environment.<\/p>\n

7. Board games or computer\/video games?<\/b> Love playing board games with other people. Love playing computer games myself.<\/p>\n

8. Hobbies: crafts (art, cooking, home repair, etc) or collecting (coins, stamps, rocks, etc)?<\/b> Yes.<\/p>\n

9. Watch TV or read a book?<\/b> Sounds good to me.<\/p>\n

10. Eating out: fancy, white-tablecloth restaurant or casual dining?<\/b> Depends on the occasion. I like well-made food, and a nice bottle of wine. I also enjoy chili fries and a shake.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
