voting for Strickland<\/a>, not because of him, per se, but because I’d just as soon see the Senate stay Democratic. And that’s not because I’m a Tom Daschle fan, but because I think our government works best when one party doesn’t <\/i>hold all the reins — and while the Senate Democrats are occasionally obstructionist slime, I don’t trust the Bush Administration (or House or Senate Republicans) not to run roughshod over the citizenry if they once again get a majority in both houses and the White House.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"I’m not a big Tom Strickland fan.
