\n My daughter wanted to share this with me, and so I watched it. Aaaand … that’s about all I want to see of it. It’s not a bad film, it’s just not a very good film. Riffing a lot of the humor from Mad Monster Party, with a dreary injection of dad-can’t-let-go-of-daughter, it’s a film that endlessly amusing while being remarkably unengaging. Even the core plot about parents, kids, fear, and freedom, not only fails to rise above extremely well-trod…\n <\/p>\n
