Google+ has moved into the second most active social network platform. \u00a0If you drill through to the underlying report (and not just look at the surface fluff), the growth is not at the expense of Facebook per se;<\/i> all three of the services shown grew, mostly drawing from more local \/ national social networks.(who wants to be on\u00a0MeinVz, Hyves, Copains d\u2019Avant, or Tencent Weibo, when you can be on one of the Big Three).<\/p>\n

That said, it's a big vindication (esp. if you count YouTube, which actually came in #3 above Twitter) of Google, both with Plus and with its overall integration strategy. The "it's a ghost town" complaints from the early days of Google+ seem just a bit overreaching now.<\/p>\n

A recent report by Global Web Index has revealed that +<\/span>Google+<\/a><\/span>\u00a0 has now surpassed Twitter in active users!<\/i><\/p>\n

If anyone has yet to see the value in Google+ as a platform to build an audience for their business or brand, they seriously need to re-think some things.<\/i><\/p>\n
