She has "a lot to see, planets to save, civilisations to rescue, monsters to defeat, and an awful lot of running to do."<\/p>\n

Now, she's not the<\/i> Doctor … but I have no doubt that Moffet could work things such that she would be.<\/p>\n

I've talked about how it would be nice to have a more mature Doctor, and I'm not backing off of that. \u00a0But think of a Last Time Lord filled with a spirit of adventure and world-saving hubris. Who actually had to rely on her Companion(s) to rein her in. Who didn't carry around the wisdom and infodumps of a thousand-year lifetime to pull a plot rabbit out of a hat. \u00a0I can see a glorious multi-year story arc there, where she slowly comes into her inheritance (and, thus, memory), changing as we watch, for good and ill.<\/p>\n

I'd watch it.<\/p><\/div>\n
