Tom Cruise leads a charmed life, in that his career didn't utterly tank after this dreadfully mediocre outing, with its miscast John Woo direction, awful melodrama, and … pretty everything.<\/p>\n

If you like gun-fu, then there's some nice bits here. You can probably find a "Best of" on Youtube, which would be a far better use of your time.<\/p><\/div>\n

\n Finally catching up on the MI franchise. The first film is a regular favorite of mine. This second … won’t be. 1. Ethan Hunt is a jerk. 2. Ethan Hunt apparently got an injection of John Woo blood in him through one of those fancy injection guns we keep seeing, and, hey presto. he has awesome gun-fun *and* 1337 kick-boxing and acrobatic skills.
