Would have done it Sunday, but the only box that the local Best Buy had of the model we wanted was open and stuffed haphazardly under a shelf.  I hit the Best Buy near my office, and got a nice, new, shiny box (with a microwave inside).<\/p>\n<p>We decided on the model we previously had, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sharp-usa.com\/products\/ModelLanding\/0,1058,486,00.html#\">Sharp Platinum Collection R-630DS<\/a>.  It&#8217;s served us well (except for crapping out after a year and a half), and for its interior size, it&#8217;s the smallest thing on the market (since the controls are on the door itself).  Plus we know how to use the functions we want, which is always a challenge with a new microwave.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s hoping it lasts for a few years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Went ahead and bought a new microwave oven today, to replace the broken one.
