Well, given the revolving door of once-and-future financial institution execs in the upper ranks of treasury \/ finance \/ regulatory groups in government, and the dearth of any meaningful punishment of those institutions that commit egregious crimes against the nation's economy, it's hardly a wonder that the folks in the middle are untrusting of their bosses and afraid of being cut off at the knees if they point out inconvenient problems. \u00a0This has been a perennial problem, across both Republican and Democratic administrations.<\/p>\n

WASHINGTON — Regulators overseeing the nation\u2019s largest financial institutions are distrustful of their bosses, afraid to speak out, and feeling isolated, according to a confidential survey this year of Federal Reserve employees.<\/i><\/p>\n

The findings from the April survey of roughly 400 employees, presented to Fed staff during multiple meetings in June and July and obtained by The Huffington Post, show a workforce that is demoralized, and an institution where teamwork is nonexistent, innovation and creativity are discouraged and employees feel underutilized.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n
