Nothing much new to report on the airport security front from our trip to\/from California. I have no idea how things might tighten when the balloon goes up in Iraq, but this trip was pretty much like previous ones.<\/p>\n
Denver, I guess because of its controlled access to the concourses, no longer requires you to flash your ID when you board — just (still) when you get your tickets and when you get to the security gates.<\/p>\n
Ontario, on the other hand, remains a good airport to carry on all your baggage. If you have anything to check, you still have to check in at the counter, then lug your own suitcases over to a long line to be run through the X-Ray Machine of Death, just as when that all started in January.
