We programmed a button on our Comcast remote this way to do a skip-forward on the DVR. \u00a0Greatest human convenience since … well, the DVR.<\/p>\n

As to the title, I programmed it to replace the button that's the mirror on the remote of the 15 second skip-back. \u00a0That happens to be the [LIVE] button on the remote, which brings back the "live" TV channel instead of what's being watched. Since we never used it for that, it was an obvious choice. And since the skip-forward adds so much to our quality of life, it also fit that way. \u00a0<\/p>\n

As to why I shout, "Live! LIVE!" (pronounced as a commend, not a description) when I do it … well, who knows?<\/p><\/div>\n
