I’m well enough again to be back in the office this morning. Woo-hoo, and just in time to deal with HR problems …

The award ceremony for Ginger was very nice. She’s a remarkable lady, and well deserving of the honors. She did find a bit dismaying that she was officially labeled “A Living Treasure.” I think we’ll have a lot of fun with the title.

She also went home laden with flowers and with commendations from the county, her assemblyperson, her Representative, and the Governor.

They also had a fund-raising raffle which, amusingly enough, Margie and I won. It included some Bug’s Life dolls for Kitten, and four one-day passes to Disneyland. Guess I know what’s on the boards for the ’03 holiday season.

My muse has chosen this week to poke me with a new, sharper, heavier pitchfork regarding my writing. Rrg.
