While I can appreciate some fundamental level of cleverness over these buttons that showed up on a vendor's display (for a brief time) at the Colorado Republican Convention, it's also telling to me that — just as there is a faction within the GOP that really loves using racist imagery about Barack Obama, there's also a faction (probably much the same one) who can't talk about Hillary Clinton without making a sexist crack.<\/p>\n

Call them the Rush Limbaugh faction.<\/p>\n

I don't think they represent the GOP as a whole, by any means. I know some fine Republicans who would consider these buttons, at a minimum, offensive, and I'm sure there are others who would be appalled at the message it was sending. \u00a0But not enough of them seemed to be around outside the VIP reception at the California convention to have told off this vendor before a reporter spotted them tweeted about it (http:\/\/goo.gl\/IMZdH1<\/a>).<\/div>\n
