I've been tracking news on nuclear fusion for electricity since the mid-70s (when it was my Affirmative Plan in high school debate). \u00a0Fusion is always<\/i> just another five years out, as soon as the next X gets built or Y breakthrough occurs. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Which doesn't mean it won't happen, sooner or later, and I'd love to still be around when it does — but I'll believe it when I see the surcharge for it on my Xcel bill.<\/p><\/div>\n
