Didn’t we just go through a paper money redesign? Is anyone else annoyed that, after changing the $20 just five years ago, they’re looking to do it again<\/a>? The secret, this time, is that there will be a non-green “predominant but subtle color” color in the background.<\/p>\n

Ooooh, that’ll keep those counterfeiters at bay.<\/p>\n

Okay, so counterfeiting is, in fact, a major industry. And all those memes of elderly guys with jewellers loups making their own fake $20 plates have gone the way of digital photography and overlaying images on bleached lower-denomination bills.<\/p>\n
