It's one thing to deal with ebooks that you don't really own, just license — a license that can be revoked, or limited in how you an use the book, etc. \u00a0That's just a book.<\/p>\n

And it's one thing to sell printers that require that you use special chip-embedded ink cartridges for that force you to buy ink from the original printer manufacturers … for as long as they choose to make it available.<\/p>\n

But, now, a car? A whole car?<\/i> \u00a0Set up to only work with a rental<\/i> battery that, if you stop paying, can be remotely disabled? \u00a0Who would be insane enough to buy such a thing?<\/p>\n
