{"id":41012,"date":"2014-02-06T13:07:24","date_gmt":"2014-02-06T20:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2014\/02\/06\/on-damage-on-a-miss.html"},"modified":"2014-02-10T11:20:01","modified_gmt":"2014-02-10T18:20:01","slug":"on-damage-on-a-miss","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2014\/02\/06\/on-damage-on-a-miss.html","title":{"rendered":"On Damage on a Miss"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gpb-content\">It shows how out of touch I&#39;ve been from the D&amp;D world that I didn&#39;t realize this was a Thing until I ran across an article about it (or about some foofaraw about it) yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Rob Donoghue, not surprisingly, does a great job looking at how DoaM is fantastic, awful, weird, and very D&amp;D.<\/p>\n<p>Trying to create a combat system that&#39;s terribly crunchy and literal but still usable was always an obsession of my college gaming\u00a0circle, leading to hit locations and all sorts of other bits and bobs.
