If you can get away with the chief finding it &quot;very concerning that officers fired before adequately identifying a threat; fired without adequately identifying a target and not adequately evaluating cross fire situations&quot;, resulting in civilian injuries and other targets being hit, and just face some additional training &#8212; I don&#39;t think bodies would have made a difference at all.<\/p>\n<p>Don&#39;t get me wrong &#8212; I wouldn&#39;t want to be guarding a house and then hear a loud noise that maybe sounded like a gunshot and see a vehicle driving past. \u00a0But, then, I&#39;m not paid and licensed by the city to carry around deadly force with the expectation that it will be used only when actually called for.
