Strangely enough, it's dash cam footage that the cops never turned over to prosecutors or the defense — and footage without which an innocent man would have been sent to jail.<\/p>\n

Makes you wonder about other convicts who claim they're innocent. Sure, that can be a self-serving lie, too. But the more cases like this that come up, the more the presumption that the cop version of what happened\u00a0in a dispute can simply be trusted implicitly is shaken. And that's not good for anyone — especially the police who are doing their job correctly.<\/p>\n
