{"id":41263,"date":"2014-03-02T13:56:03","date_gmt":"2014-03-02T20:56:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2014\/03\/02\/slowing-ahead.html"},"modified":"2014-11-12T11:52:58","modified_gmt":"2014-11-12T18:52:58","slug":"slowing-ahead","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hill-kleerup.org\/blog\/2014\/03\/02\/slowing-ahead.html","title":{"rendered":"Slowing ahead"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gpb-content\">We were driving up into downtown Denver early last evening, and for some hours we kept seeing \u00a0massive red patch on Google Maps and a &quot;1 hour 15 minutes&quot; timeline to get to our destination. \u00a0Now I see why.<\/p>\n<p>That particular stretch involves curves and the beginning of high walls on either side of the freeway. It&#39;s wide, but people still whip through there awfully fast, even when there&#39;s sketchy weather and road conditions.
