I really was.<\/p>\n<p>I would have talked about the tragedy &#8212; the tragedy as much that it led to a retrenchment from space, as well as the himan tragedy of those involved.<\/p>\n<p>And I would have said something about how this is still a dangerous business.<\/p>\n<p>And now &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Well, hell.<\/p>\n<p>And, so help me God, the first person I hear claiming this is an omen, who talks about this as some sign from a deity about America&#8217;s overreaching pride, who mentions it in context of their being an Israeli on board &#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was going to post about the 17th Anniversary of the Challenger explosion, the other day.
