Guess I missed the memo that there was some Huge Controversy over Subtraction making the rounds.<\/p>\n<p>All I can say is:<\/p>\n<p>1. My daughter got taught math in the past several years in some strange, bizarre ways that (a) allowed her to graduate to &quot;normal&quot; computation and (b) don&#39;t seem to have rendered her an idiot.<\/p>\n<p>2.
