I think she was seriously considering a presidential run somewhere along the way, but has fallen in the abyss between the arch-conservative wing of the GOP and the rest of the electorate. For all her goofiness, she bowed to political pressure (or reason) just a few too many times to keep her more rabid supporters happy.<\/p>\n

Here's hoping that Arizona is able to come up with someone better.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Gov. Jan Brewer says she will not run for re-election<\/b><\/p>\n

+<\/span>azcentral.com<\/a><\/span>: Arizona Republican Gov. Jan Brewer announced on Wednesday that she will not seek another term in office.<\/p>\n

She made the announcement at Park Meadows Elementary School in Glendale, Ariz., during an event attended by both students and current and former Brewer staffers.<\/p>\n
